The Ambassadors are an extension of the Chamber who are out and engaged in the community. They are the official welcome team for new members. They can be spotted at ribbon cuttings, greeting new Chamber members, and volunteering at events.

Garrett Hughes has served as an Eastern Shore Chamber Ambassador for five years and has been actively involved with the Jubilee Festival committees, including time as co-chair. A native of the Eastern Shore, Garrett attended the University of Mobile and earned a degree in International Business.
He began his career with City Hope Church in various roles before joining the University of Mobile staff in the Marketing and Admissions offices. After six years with the university, Garrett stepped away to join his family business, Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory, in Daphne.
As a Funeral Director, Garrett assists families with every aspect of planning and directing funeral services while helping continue the growth of the family business. He is grateful to serve and support families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Hughes Funeral Home has been recognized as Small Business of the Year, Best Funeral Home in Baldwin County by Gulf Coast Media, and the inaugural Nappie Award winner for Best Funeral Home.
Garrett lives in Daphne with his wife, Melyssa, and their son, JP. They enjoy spending time with friends, hosting cookouts, cheering on the Auburn Tigers and New Orleans Saints, and traveling together.

Brooke O’Donnell is the third generation of MilliMedia, following in the footsteps of her grandmother, Carmen Million, who founded the agency in the 1960s, and her father, Bayne Million. She graduated with honors from the University of Alabama with a degree in Communications and a minor in Graphic Design. Brooke’s early career included work with Comcast in Atlanta and experience with major sports organizations such as the Braves, Falcons, Hawks, and ISP/Learfield Sports, where she designed Alabama’s award-winning 2005 football programs.
With over twenty years of marketing experience, Brooke has managed campaigns both national and local across tourism, political, retail, and corporate sectors. Matthew has previously served his community as a member on the Alabama State Board of Education and currently serves in various roles as a member of Shore Light Baptist Church. During his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family on Fly Creek, serving at church, and reading a good book.

Although I wasn’t born and raised in Baldwin County, I lived in Bay Minette for 13 years before moving to the Belforest area in 2023. I’ve been actively involved in the North Baldwin community for many years, serving on numerous committees and boards. Since relocating, I have been eager to serve within the Eastern Shore community as well. I’ve always admired the continuing growth of this area, and I firmly believe that “The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention” (Oscar Wilde). I look forward to bringing my community involvement experience to the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce and working alongside its businesses and members.

Sherry Coker is the Vice President of Private Client Services for BankPlus, serving Baldwin and Mobile County. With over 20 years of banking experience, she is dedicated to excellence and believes her role in the community is to connect people and resources. Sherry is one of only five women who have served as the Director of the Alabama Banking School since its inception in the 1970s.
She is deeply committed to supporting the mentally ill in our community and has successfully coordinated the Basic Needs program for individuals living in transitional homes. Additionally, she facilitated the funding and construction of a Therapeutic Garden for a group home in Theodore, AL, providing an outlet for those dealing with mental health challenges.
Sherry has been married to her husband, Ray, for fifteen years and considers herself the luckiest woman in the world. Together, they are parents to six adult children and proud grandparents to four little ones.
She majored in Media and Mass Communications at East Tennessee State University and was recognized as one of the Rising Stars of Alabama Banking in 2015. Sherry has served on the board of the United Way and the Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy. She has received numerous awards from the Mobile Area Chamber for her dedication and service. Recently, she volunteered as a "Shucker" for the American Cancer Society’s Baldwin County chapter. Having recently moved to Daphne, she looks forward to building new friendships and forging partnerships within the community.

Board of Directors for the Mobile Rotary Club and as Chair of the Mobile Chamber

with the Eastern Shore Chamber and further engage with the communities across the
