Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Launches New Tourism Website to Boost Exposure for Local Small Businesses

Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce

FAIRHOPE, Ala. – The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce launches a new tourism and community website and marketing initiative just in time for the 4th of July holiday.

ExploreEasternShore.com goes live Tuesday, June 30.

The goal is to boost exposure for local small businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 closures and serve as a tool to help the Eastern Shore’s hospitality industry rebound.

"Whether you’re escaping on a girl’s weekend, a couple’s retreat or looking to spend time with family away from the crowds, the Eastern Shore is a wonderful destination to enjoy the Delta’s wide-open spaces, small mom-and-pop shops and award-winning restaurants from a table with a view,” said Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce President Casey Williams. "For those staying home, it’s an excellent tool to plan your next adventure.”

The site is built as a travel guide, and includes listings for Chamber member hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions as well as a resource for those planning weddings or events.

Event calendars and trip inspiration blog posts can also help locals find something fun to do as many are opting for staycations this summer.

"This comprehensive resource is valuable to Eastern Shore visitors as well as locals,” said Director of Tourism and Special Events Liz Thomson. "I think we’ve created a wonderful asset for everyone.”

ExploreEasternShore.com is built as a piece of an even broader marketing campaign you’ll see rolling out on social media and advertising efforts to showcase the Eastern Shore’s beauty and charm.

The website can be found at ExploreEasternShore.com and on Facebook at
