 Tom Byrne is from Foley, Alabama, and graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1983 as a Civil Engineer. Currently, he is the Western Division Superintendent for Riviera Utilities in Daphne.
He is a strong believer in "community," and also believes that service to humanity is the best work of life.
Tom has served on many volunteer Boards, some of which are, E.S. Chamber, United Way, Care House, B.C. United, Literacy Council, Sheriff’s Boys Ranches, and SEEDS. He also belongs to Daphne/Sp. Ft. Rotary Club., and has been bringing Santa Claus to children of non-profit groups, for over twenty years.
He is married to Liz, who owns Compass Point Counseling in Daphne. They are United Methodists, and they have three grown children.
Tom’s hobbies include sailing, canoeing, fishing, hunting, and watercolor painting.
