STEP, a custom 4 year career and leadership exploration program, is reaching over 135 students a year to date. Students at each grade level gather three times a year to learn about career pathways, build confidence through team building and growing positive peer networking. Positive teaching of career options with a high school degree and two year degree.
Through the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Foundation, work force development addresses the need for quality career programming for Eastern Shore high school students. The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Baldwin County Board of Education, local colleges, technical training facilities and local industries strive to bridge education with business on the Eastern Shore through leadership and career pathway exploration.
