The 29th Annual Jubilee Festival of the Arts, an Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce event, is scheduled for September 23 and 24, 2016. The Jubilee Festival

The juried art show of fine arts and crafts, takes place on Main Street (Scenic 98) in Olde Towne Daphne. There is no admission and the festival will be going on from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
This year the Jubilee Festival will feature up to 130 of the finest artists and craftsmen in the region. The Eastern Shore Chamber expects more than 30,000 patrons to attend this year.
Those attending will also find a delicious assortment of festival foods, a World Food Championships Qualifier competition, performance art and music.
Experienced judges will pick the best works in the show, and artists chosen as top in their category will win cash prizes. Artists are also recognized with the Art Patrons Award. Committee members and resident patrons announce their selection of work with special ribbons upon making a purchase. A total of $4,400 in cash awards will be given away.
The Kids Art Park project takes place in Centennial Park again this year. It is a great opportunity to provide children hands-on experience in learning and exploring their creative side. There will be eight booths set up which includes activities such as fish painting, wood sculpture, puppet making, etc. Kids will also have a chance to participate in the fence painting activity.
