Cash Prizes Awarded to Artists and Craftsmen

A panel of highly respected and talented judges have been invited to pick the best of the best in the 19th Annual Jubilee Festival in Olde Towne Daphne, an Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce event, which takes place September 27 & 28, 2008. This year’s event is presented by Citrin Law Firm. Fifty-five awards are to be presented at this year’s event.

The Categories for the awards include:
• Best of Show Over All - $750
• 2nd Place Overall - $400
• 3rd Place Overall - $250
• 10 Awards of Distinction - $100 ea
• 40 Patron Purchase Awards - $50 ea

Total cash value: $4,000

In addition a Road Runner Ribbon, which is a non-cash award, is given to the exhibitor that traveled the greatest distance. Another non-cash award is the Exhibitor’s Choice Award selected by the exhibitors themselves.

The judges will have a tremendous challenge facing them at this year’s festival. Some of the most talented artists and craftsmen from throughout the southeast will exhibit their works.
