Cash Prizes Awarded to Artists and Craftsmen

The winners for the 21st Annual Jubilee Festival exhibited great talent, according to Judges Barbara Simpson of Millbrook, Ala. And Lanette Meyers of Ocean Springs, Miss.
 
The Categories for the awards include: 
• Best of Show Over All - $750
• 2nd Place Overall - $400
• 3rd Place Overall - $250
• 10  Awards of Distinction - $100 ea
 
Total cash value:   $2,300.  This year’s winners were:
 
Best of Show:  Patrick Reynolds, Lynn Haven, Fla. – Graphic Arts
2nd Place:  Susan Bergman, New Orleans, La. – Sculpture
3rd Place:  Julie Salvetti, Venice, Fla. – Jewelry

In addition a Road Runner Ribbon, which is a non-cash award, is given to the exhibitor that traveled the greatest distance. Another non-cash award is the Exhibitor’s Choice Award selected by the exhibitors themselves.

The judges will have a tremendous challenge facing them at this year’s festival. Some of the most talented artists and craftsmen from throughout the southeast will exhibit their works.
