 Chris Myers started his automotive career as a salesperson for Ross Downing Chevrolet in Hammond Louisiana. Much to everyone’s surprise, in 1980, Chris, his wife Weezie, and two daughter’s moved to the Eastern Shore. In 1981 Chris purchased Thomas Pontiac-GMC.
During the first year, as Mr. Myers recalls, people would come by and shop, but they were afraid to purchase because they feared the dealership might not be there to service their vehicle.
Chris Myers Automall is a locally owned, family operated business. In addition to the GMC-Pontiac lines, Nissan was added in 1982, Jeep and Chrysler in 1999, and in 2006 Buick and Dodge. Chris is proud of his dealership’s reputation built on courteous, honest sales and service.
Chris Myers is an active part of our community. In addition to supporting the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Blueprint for Tomorrow, he supports many school and civic organizations in Baldwin and Mobile Counties, including Thomas Hospital, YMCA, and St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
