The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 24th Annual Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast, which will be held on the National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 1 at 7:30 am at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club and Spa. The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce presents the Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast as an event to bring our communities together for an inspirational and uplifting breakfast with special guests Mayor Joseph Bonner of Spanish Fort, Mayor Fred Small of Daphne and Mayor Tim Kant of Fairhope.

The speaker for this year’s event is Mike Gottfried, of Team Focus, a comprehensive community and outreach program that he co-founded. The vision of the program is based on his own life experiences. The goal is to provide young men, ages 10 – 18 with leadership and Godly values, and a continual relationship with a mentor. Through families, teachers and counselors, Team Focus offers support in a free atmosphere.

In addition to working with Team Focus, the Mobile resident serves as a college football analyst for ESPN. He is also a former Division I head football coach and helped implement the GMAC Bowl in Mobile. Gottfried was recently honored by having been inducted into the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame.

Inspirational entertainment for this year’s event will be performed by award winning solo artist Mark Harris, who is formerly with the group 4 Him, a contemporary Christian group.

Tickets for the breakfast are $30 each and a table of 10 is $300. To purchase tickets drop by either of the Chambers offices at the Scenic Overlook in Daphne or on Fairhope Avenue in Fairhope.
