DAPHNE, AL, April 10, 2008 - - The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the 7th Annual Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will go to help fund the Eastern Shore Chamber Community Foundation Youth Leadership Program. The tournament will be held at the beautiful Lakewood Golf Club on the Dogwood Course in Point Clear. The course, a Robert Trent Golf Trail course, is owned by the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club and Spa. The date for the event is Friday, May 23 with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Players will begin registering at 11:00 a.m. A deli style lunch will be offered before the tournament kicks off.

Individual players may register for $175 per person, or there is a four-team players’ package available for $600. The Eastern Shore Chamber Golf Tournament is based on a 4-person scramble, playing off the best ball. An awards ceremony will follow the tournament where all the winners will be recognized.
