Westminster Village Unveils $3 Million Cottage Redesign to Attract Baby Boomers

SPANISH FORT, AL — A new, enhanced model of senior living will be unveiled on Wednesday, April 17 at 10 a.m. in Spanish Fort when Westminster Village retirement community completes its first phase of a $3M renovation to its cottages.

The multimillion-dollar enhancement to 88 cottages will modernize Spanish Fort’s first continuing care retirement community to attract a new generation of seniors: independent, active baby boomers interested in modern, customizable floor plans, resort-like amenities, fitness programs and social events, with the added benefit of having access to assisted living and skilled nursing care at no additional cost later in life.

This is the first major renovation of the 40-year-old community since its affiliation with Acts Retirement-Life Communities in May 2017.
