Prattville, Alabama – October 10, 2019 – Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Stubbs is pleased to announce that River Bank & Trust has expanded into Mobile, Alabama with the addition of a loan and deposit production office.

Under the direction of Doug Thomas, the Coastal Region’s managing executive, Vice President Karen Morris, Vice President Davis Dugger, and Senior Vice President Mike O’Sullivan are now located at the new office.

Doug Thomas and Mortgage Lending Manager Tara Hickey are available to serve clients there as well. "Our Coastal Region expansion plans have always included Mobile, a city with a growing economy and diverse industry,” says Jimmy Stubbs. "The new office provides exciting opportunities for growth and a nice diversification of our geographic footprint.

If the success we’ve seen in Daphne is any indication, we have a very bright future in Mobile.” In 2006, River Bank & Trust opened with two main goals: 1) establish a community-focused financial institution that would support local decision making and 2) re-circulate money back into the communities it serves.

Since then, River Bank & Trust has grown to be one of the largest state-chartered banks in Alabama with current assets exceeding 1.1 billion dollars and fourteen locations in Alexander City, Auburn, Clanton, Daphne, Thorsby, Gadsden, Millbrook, Montgomery, Opelika, Prattville, and Wetumpka.

After merging with Trinity Bank on October 31st, the bank will add two locations in Dothan and one in Enterprise.
