What: COVID-10 Mass Emergency Food Distributions

Contact: Deann Servos, Executive Director,

It’s about hunger at Prodisee Pantry!  We understand that many families are still not back to work as the community begins to assess how to operate under the "new normal.”  Prodisee Pantry is slowly transitioning back to our "new normal” but we will continue our Mass Emergency Food Distributions through June for families struggling financially due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  We are encouraging all Baldwin County families seeking food assistance to arrive at Spanish Fort High School by 11AM to be signed in by our volunteers. Due to the Summer heat and distributing in our parking lot, we are making the move back to normal operating hours of 9 to 11:30AM starting officially on June 9th… with last sign in at SFHS at 11AM.

Starting in July, we will continue to assess the COVID-19 pandemic and are planning to resume some inside client family activity and open up to a larger but still limited volunteer crew.  We will continue to maintain social distancing and are asking all client families and volunteers to wear a face covering/mask while at Prodisee Pantry for the foreseeable future.  We encourage everyone to wear a face mask when out and about in our community to help stop the spread of COVID-19 to high risk populations.

An update:  Prodisee Pantry has held 10 Mass Emergency Food Distributions.  Our skeleton crews of volunteers have distributed 8,743 FOOD UNITS complete with fresh fruits & vegetables, dairy, meats, bread and lots of other staple groceries.  Just during the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been 6,720 Baldwin County FAMILY VISITS in which 240 TONS was distributed by volunteers.

Prodisee Pantry has always run on the energy of volunteers, the power of prayer and the community’s support.  The most efficient way you can help us provide food to your neighbors in need is by giving online at  This will allow us to restock and continue our food distributions.  Our community is resilient…  we will get through this difficult time together… Because at Prodisee Pantry… it’s about HUNGER… it’s about FAITH…  it’s about COMMUNITY!
