Daphne, Ala.—Thomas Hospital Emergency in Malbis, a freestanding emergency
department located at 29487 Hwy. 181 in Daphne (the corner of Hwy. 181 and Hwy.
90), is now open.
The 24-hour, 7-day-a-week emergency department provides the same full service
emergency care as a traditional emergency department and fills the gap for
emergency care in the Spanish Fort and Daphne area. The 22,000 square foot
facility has 12 exam rooms, 2 trauma rooms, an in-house laboratory and
inpatient as well as outpatient imaging department, complete with MRI, CT,
X-ray and ultrasound equipment.
