Grand Hotel Chef Kimberly Lyons Named Top 25 Pastry Chefs by Hotel F&B

Congratulations to the Grand Hotel's Kimberly Lyons on being named one of "Hotel F&B's" Top 25 Pastry Chefs of 2018. 

The website says these 25 pastry chefs are making an impact at their hotels, as nominated and described by thier on-property peers.

"Kimberly started at the Grand Hotel as a pastry cook, and since I arrived in August 2015, she’s been promoted to supervisor and was the obvious choice when the pastry chef position became open,” says Executive Chef Cory Garrison. "Kimberly has a consistent drive to always do her best, has a top-tier work ethic, and is as focused as any chef I have ever worked with. Kimberly has brought determination and a drive for perfection to our pastry team, and she is always learning and staying on top of culinary trends. Kimberly has elevated our amenities here to include items like estate-foraged jams and client-specific bonbons. Currently, we’re working together on reopening six outlets with new concepts, including a coffee shop/bakery at the resort, and Kimberly has also taken the reigns of our existing Local Market, improving its menus and setup."
