Eastern Shore Chamber Offers Run-off Election Guides

Daphne and Fairhope voters will head back to the polls October 4th for the municipal run-off elections. Fairhope has only one city council seat on the ballot. Place 2 incumbent Diana Brewer faces James "Jimmy" Reid Conyers, Jr. for her seat. There are two council seats on the ballot in Daphne. District 2 incumbent Pat Rudicell faces Larry Chason and District 4 Incumbent Randy Fry is up against Doug Goodlin.

The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee has taken an active roll in this municipal election, helping voters get to know the candidates running for office. The Chamber  has created and released a voter guide before the municipal election and has now condensed those guides down into Run-off Voter Guides featuring the candidates left on the ballot.

Our Governmental Affairs Committee has asked the candidates to answer questions you care about most. Candidates were asked about their top priorities in office, where they stand on budgeting decisions, how they'd support tourism in our area and how our cities should proceed forward to support our schools.

The Chamber hopes you will find these guides to be a useful tool as you get to know your candidates before the October 4th run-off. Please feel free to share it with your employees, friends and family. Links are available on our facebook page and twitter for easy sharing.

Links to each Run-off Voter Guide can be found below. We also have paper copies available at our Chamber Offices.
