Don't Take a Vacation From Making Your Voice Heard

Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce

"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
It’s Summertime and during the summer months, we tend to take a break from our fast-paced lives to enjoy the things we love most about living in Baldwin County. However, there is one thing that we cannot take a vacation from and that is voting in our upcoming runoff election.

With the primary election behind us and the runoff elections upon us, it’s a great time to take a moment and reflect about the importance of civic engagement.  As President Abraham said, "Governing starts on the ground with its engaged citizenry leading the way”.

As the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to make the Eastern Shore the best place to live, work and cultivate business and we can’t do that without you taking the first step: Letting your voice be heard by exercising your right to VOTE!

By voting in the upcoming runoff election, July 17 and then again in the General Election, November 6 we have the opportunity to select leaders who understand the issues facing Baldwin County and our great State of Alabama.

The Eastern Shore Chamber and its Governmental Affairs Committee, want to see voters take to the polls July 17 and then again on November 6.
