Daphne's Hilton Garden Inn Top-Performer for Fourth Consecutive Year

DAPHNE, Ala. — Consistency is everything at Hilton Garden Inn of Mobile East Bay/Daphne, which has been named one of the brand’s two Pride Award winners for 2015. With this most recent award, the Daphne property has maintained its position among the top three performing Hilton Garden Inns for four years in a row. The hotel won its first Pride Award in 2012, followed by consecutive Connie Awards in 2013 and 2014—both of which honored the property as the brand’s top performing "Hotel of the Year.”

This latest Pride Award once again makes the Daphne property a standout among 612 Hilton Garden Inns across North America as a top three hotel.

The Pride and Connie Awards are based on scores in three key areas: 1) Quality Assurance (QA) evaluations measuring cleanliness, condition and brand standards; 2) Satisfaction and Loyalty Tracking (SALT) scores, which indicate product quality based on thousands of guest surveys conducted throughout the year; and 3) the quality of the hotel’s physical accommodations.

In addition to the Pride Award, the Daphne property also received the 2015 Problem Avoidance Award. This difficult-to-achieve award recognizes the property as having the lowest overall percentage of guests who had a problem (as measured by SALT scores). Plus, General Manager Billy Meadows was honored with a 2015 Merit Award, placing him in the top five performing general managers. The Merit Award is based on a number of performance indicators and signifies that the recipient effectively represents the values of the Hilton brand.
