Bayside Cross Country Team Volunteers at Prodisee Pantry

Submitted: Bayside Academy

Daphne, Ala., September 16, 2019 – Members of Bayside Academy’s Boys and Girls Cross Country teams skipped a weekday running practice last week and instead volunteered their time to Prodisee Pantry in Spanish Fort. Cross Country runners ranging from 7th to 12th grades worked the project. Students manned the line assembling, filling, and stocking boxes of non-perishable food items. They also lent many hands to remove bulk trash and helped keep operations running smoothly in support of Prodisee Pantry’s mission to provide food and outreach to Baldwin County residents in need.

With the holidays approaching, individuals and community organizations are encouraged to donate time or monetary assistance to help Prodisee Pantry serve the community. For additional information on ways to be involved, call or email Prodisee Pantry at (251) 626-1720 or

Bayside Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in grades PK–12.
