 Meet Bill Ainsworth, member of the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce board of Advisors.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Bill spent most of his life living in Mississippi. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University, with a bachelor of science degree in business statistics and data processing. Bill also attended Louisiana State University, graduating from the School of Banking of the South. He also attended the American Institute of Banking, earning basic, standard, advanced and graduate certificates. He was also an instructor for that institute.
Bill has extensive volunteer experience, serving on many professional and non-profit organization boards. He has been a member of the Rotary Club for many years and is also a retired Major from the Mississippi Army National Guard. Currently, Bill serves on the board for the Eastern Shore Literacy Council and Family Counseling Center of Mobile, as well as serving on the Chamber’s Board of Advisors.
Employed with Regions Bank since October, 1991, Bill’s current title is Senior Vice President /Commercial Relationship Manager.
Bill and his wife, Claudia, have resided in Fairhope for ten years. They have two grown children, Allison Scott, age 36, and Brad Ainsworth, age 32.
When not working or volunteering his time, Bill enjoys playing golf, traveling and tree farming.
