EASTERN SHORE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SEEKS TALENTED ENTERTAINERS FOR ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL

Plans are well underway for the 59th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival of Fairhope, which is an Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce event. The festival is scheduled for March 18, 19, and 20, 2011.

One of the favorite features of the Chamber’s premier event is the wonderful talent lineup on the festival stage. Submissions are being accepted now from local bands, dance troops, and other types of entertainment.

Groups and individuals wishing to perform in the 59th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival of Fairhope simply need to send an introduction letter detailing the type of talent or performance, CD or video and send it to the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce at P. O. Drawer 310, Daphne, AL 36526-0310.

Once reviewed, entertainment committee members will notify chosen performers and complete the entertainment schedule, which offers live acts every hour on the hour during hours of operation throughout the event. All applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as talent that is appropriate for a home town community based festival.

The Arts & Crafts Festival was ranked #20 out of 100 of the Best Contemporary Crafts Show in the nation by Sunshine Artists Magazine in 2009 and is listed as one of 20 top events in state by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel.
