Variety of Events Add Unique Flavor Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Fairhope

AAdjacent to the Chamber’s event is the Eastern Shore Art Association’s 38th Annual Outdoor Art Show, which is set-up on Section Street, north of the chamber show. For complete information call (251) 928-2228.

The 18th Annual Fairhope Train Show will be held at the Fairhope K-1 Center on March 20 and 21, during the annual arts and crafts festival.  Hours for the train show will be 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.  Admission is $2 for adults, and children are free if accompanied by an adult.  Admission is free for active military, police and fire fighters.  For more information call (251) 660-1659.

The 32nd annual Spring Fever Chase, sponsored by Thomas Hospital and Wachovia Bank, follows a scenic course along the bay and through neighborhoods of Fairhope on Saturday, March 20. Both the 10K and the 2-mile races start at the intersection of Fairhope Avenue and Bayview Street. Part of the many festivities that fill the town during the annual Arts and crafts Festival, the run signals a rite of Spring. Proceeds from the event benefit schools in Baldwin County. Even cats and dogs benefit from the busy event. The Haven will set up a pet adoption Saturday, March 20 from pm in the Greer’s parking lot and the Baldwin Humane Society will hold one at the Compass Bank parking lot. For more information call (251) 928-4585.
