LOCAL FAVORITE, THE JON MILLER BAND, TO ENTERTAIN AT
56th Annual ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL in FAIRHOPE

Home Grown Local Entertainment Featured at Festival

FAIRHOPE, AL, March 1, 2008 - - Local favorite, the Jon Miller Band, will be performing to a packed-out crowd at the 56th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Fairhope, an Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce event. The festival is scheduled for March 14, 15 & 16.

Variety is the spice of this year’s Annual Arts and Craft Festival, and all of the talent has deep southern roots. In addition to the wide variety of community vocal groups, festival goers will enjoy comedy performances, bluegrass music, jazz performances, a talented one-man band ...just to name a few.

An estimated 250,000 people attended the festival last year in beautiful downtown Fairhope, Ala. Over 200 exhibitors from all over the nation will bring their best wares to the show and sell. In addition to the great art and enjoyable entertainment, visitors can lap up a taste of some of the finest festival foods.

Traditional keepsakes will once again be available for purchase such as the popular festival t-shirts and posters.

Festival hours are 10 am – 5 pm daily, and there is no admission. In addition, shuttle services will be provided by the Baldwin Rural Area Transportation System (BRATS) for $1. Free parking will be available at Plantation Pointe Shopping Center, Ecor Rouge Place and the Eastern ShoreVillage Shopping Center.
